Tanya is a senior Radiation Oncologist who specialises in the management of prostate and bladder cancer. She works across both public and private hospitals in Brisbane and is known for combining advanced radiation technology with a supportive, patient-focused approach.

Sub speciality areas:

• Radiation treatment for prostate, bladder and kidney cancer
• Radiation treatment for anorectal cancer
• Palliative radiation for all malignancies including SBRT for metastatic disease

Tanya has been actively involved in national guideline development, contributing to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Cancer Council patient information resources. She established Australia’s first Rapid Response Palliative Radiation Clinic, which provides timely care and same-day treatment for patients.

She completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide and specialist training with RANZCR and has been a college examiner for over 15 years.  Tanya is a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland and has been recognised nationally with awards for her contributions to education and training in radiation treatment
