Julia is a nephrologist with a passion for improving care in genetic kidney diseases. With a strong background in medicine, genetics, and research, she blends clinical expertise with a thoughtful, personalised style of care.

• Genetic kidney conditions such as Alport Syndrome and ADPKD
• Chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplant and supportive care

Julia studied medicine in Sydney and holds an Honours degree in Science from the University of Queensland. She is currently completing a PhD in genetic kidney disease and has published extensively on kidney genetics, cardiovascular disease and chronic kidney disease.

She also teaches and mentors at the University of Queensland, where she is valued for her commitment to education and for inspiring the next generation of doctors.
